We moved to an online membership system 2 or 3 years ago now. When of the barriers has been the login. As most of you do not log in often, you forget or need to reset your password every time. We agree that that is a trial at times!
So as part of our Inspire Olympia funding we set a aside a little bit for administration, in order to make our lives as volunteers easier, and to encourage and breakdown barriers to membership. The solution was to add in the somewhat universal social login, of using your Google or Facebook account. So far with have Google working, and are working out the kinks with Facebook.
Existing Members
If you have a current membership, or have signed up in the past, you can now link your account to your Google account, and use that to log in. If you need help, seek it at a meeting, when you drop by the library or make a time to talk to Nathan our President. It is pretty easy to do!
New Members
If you have never been a member and would like to be, simple choose to sign on with Google rather than creating your own login (using your email). It is that easy!
